Every published estimate sizes the space economy. None of them says who owns it: how much of commercial space revenue is earned by publicly traded companies, and how much by companies whose equity cannot be bought on any public market.

The paper answers that question company by company for 2023 to 2025. Two rules shape the method. No segment is accepted on the strength of its name, so a division called Space is read for what it actually contains. And where the filings cannot settle a number, the paper publishes the range rather than picking one.

The figures in the paper are the authors' provisional estimates. None of them comes from the Off Earth Data platform.
